Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine

The other half of the practice: a comprehensive, holistic approach to pain, stress, digestion, and burnout, led by Keli Lemoi, who holds a doctorate in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.

What to expect

Your first visit starts with a real conversation, about 45 minutes of it. You tell your story in full, and Keli asks the questions that let her form a Chinese medical diagnosis: your health history, your current signs and symptoms, how you sleep, eat, and work.

Alongside the conversation, she reads the body directly: tongue, pulse, and gentle palpation of the abdomen and, where useful, the arms, legs, back, and scalp. Postural assessment and orthopedic testing come in when the problem calls for them.

Then you rest comfortably with needles while the treatment does its work. Most visits also include adjuncts where they help: cupping, gua sha, Tui Na, moxibustion, trigger point work, or stretching. Herbal medicine is included, with a formula prescribed to your unique pattern.
